The verdict is in: Funnyman Jonah Hill’s turn as host on “Saturday Night Live” wasn’t received as poorly as last week’s criticized episode with Lindsay Lohan, but he couldn’t match her ratings.
New York Magazine’s Vulture notes that Hill has some qualities that make for “the perfect ‘SNL’ host,” namely his comedy experience and the fact that he’s hosted before.
Given those attributes, Vulture can’t figure out why Hill’s second time at bat for “SNL,” which included sketches about the Oscars, a Japanese game show and a parody of Rush Limbaugh, was “so blah.”
The Huffington Post agrees, saying that Hill’s turn as host was “off.” Not “‘Lindsay Lohan’ off,” mind you, but there was something amiss nonetheless, leading to not a single “must-see” sketch.

Controversial documentary “Bully” has finally been premiered in Hollywood on Monday night, March 26. The special screening event taking place at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre was supported by a number of familiar celebrities, including Victoria Justice, Joel McHale and Wilmer Valderrama.
The “Victorious” star opted to go with a casual look in a striped blazer that she paired with a pink shirt and denims. In a red carpet interview with E! News, the brunette beauty showed her support to the film as saying, “When I saw this movie, I was so emotional, I was so moved and I just wanted to give all the kids a huge hug because they shouldn’t have to go through this and it’s not acceptable.”
McHale, meanwhile, looked more formal in a sleek suit.

The legend continues: Will Ferrell will return to the airwaves in a sequel to his 2004 hit, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Ferrell announced the news during a surprise visit to Conan Wednesday night, during which he wore a sharp leisure suit and busted out a killer flute solo.
Paul Rudd and Steve Carell are also set to return, according to reports, but no word yet on Burgundy’s co-anchor, foil and love interest, played by Christina Applegate.
And in other major (and non-fictional) anchor news, Katie Couric is returning to early morning TV, but as Matt Lauers competition, not his colleague.
